01Meeting content
Sonari is designed to capture, transcribe, summarize, search, and organize meeting audio on your Mac. Meeting audio, transcripts, summaries, notes, actions, and local speaker signatures do not need to be sent to Sonari for those core functions.
02Product services
License verification, signed software updates, model downloads, and related product operations may connect to the internet. These operations are not intended to transmit the content of your meetings.
03Optional connections
Calendar, email, reminders, encrypted synchronization, sharing, or other integrations operate only when enabled. The app should explain the relevant access before requesting it, and connected providers apply their own terms and policies.
04Diagnostics
Privacy-safe stability reporting may include app version, operating-system information, error location, and technical failure details. It should exclude meeting audio, transcript text, summaries, notes, names, email content, and document content.
05Retention and deletion
Users control local meeting deletion and available source-audio retention settings. Deleting local data cannot retract copies that a user previously exported, emailed, or shared.
06Professional responsibilities
Users and organizations are responsible for lawful recording consent, notices, access controls, supervision, retention, professional duties, and appropriate use of generated work. AI output should be reviewed before reliance or distribution.
